    Hi, this is a comment.
To delete a comment, just log in, and view the posts’ comments, there you will have the option to edit or delete them.

  2. The obvious answer is that it depends. How much are the two tied together in use? How often do you access the wiki? I almost never use my edublog wiki, so it is not a real advantage to me to have it there. But if I used both the blog and wiki with a group of students, it would be a nice feature — especially for the students, I would think.

    Hi Valentina,
I agree with Nancy; it really depends what you need it for and how you are going to use it. Also, it is a personal preference too. For example, you can have a blog with bloglines, but really the main purpose of bloglines is to aggregate your feeds, so why would you use blogs? I tend to use different tools for different purposes and amalgamation of all tools together does not really appeal to me, but that just my personal preference.
What did you think about Flickr, Bloglines, and Flock? Have you tried these? Did you find them useful for open learning environments?

    Hi Valentina
Your blog is such a good example of what you can do with the pages of wordpress blogs – thank you for such an excellent example!
which template did you use to get the pages at the top?

  6. Valentina says:

Thanks for all the comments ;-)
Illya, I used Regulus by Ben Gillbanks.
It allows you to set up an “about” page and other static pages and from the “Presentation” menu you can personalize header and colours. NOt bad. It didn’t export from edublog to wordpress but both allowed this template to be selected manually.
    Hope that helps,
    Valentina

    Dear Valentina,

Hereby I kindly invite you to take part in a meme game that is running all around the blogosphere. I have been invited by Barbara Dieu. So basically, the idea is for each blogger who accepts the invitation to reveal five things most people don’t know about them and then to pass the ball to five other bloggers by tagging them.
Hope to read your posting soon.
    Warm regards,
Janos (webhead and member of the openwebpublishing course)
